Q Hair and Beauty has been awarded GOLD as part of Chichester’s ‘Investors in the Future’ Award part of Chichester District’s Education Business Partnership. The salon was nominated by Beverly Hulse from Chichester High School for Girls.
Work experience and community projects are continuous at Q Hair and Beauty who have a legacy of initiatives and awards in this area. High standards of training and acquiring customer service skills are an important part of the ‘Q’ team philosophy. Work experience and those joining the salon on an education basis have over 30 years of knowledge shared to aid the student’s career choice.
The Chichester EBP runs various projects that enhance and enrich the curriculum such as: Enterprise events, Work Related learning events, Professional Development of Teachers, Annual Conference, Quick Bite Seminars and improvements in work experience programme.

Built within a listed building and a former school, Q hair and beauty have been looking after clients for over 30 years. The salon currently employs a team of 27. The salon itself has hair, beauty and the largest home haircare retail shop in Chichester. “It really is fantastic to be recognised as a GOLD hair and beauty training venue for young people in our area. I know the team particularly enjoy sharing their news, views and knowledge with those that want to learn” says salon manager Dawn Lawrence.
