A team from Q Hair and Beauty will be joining in the fun at a charity fashion show with a difference in Arundel next month when Q stylists and beauty therapists will make sure the models are beautifully turned-out when they are accompanied on the catwalk by adorable assistance dogs and an elegant rescue hound.
The event will be held at the Victoria Institute in Arundel on the evening of Wednesday, June 17 and will fundraise for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and towards the planned major refurbishment programme at the historic building.
The models will be strutting their stuff at 6.30pm and again at 8.30pm and stepping out in style alongside them will be three hearing dogs – poodles Poppy and Cleo and Labrador Joe, as well as Luka, a rescued Saluki.
About a dozen local ladies will be wearing stunning outfits from two of the town’s most stylish shops, Chatelaine and Fanny Adams, with their hair and make-up done by the team of stylists from Q Hair and Beauty.
Tickets at £10, including a glass of wine and nibbles, will be available next week and all the proceeds from the event will be divided equally between the local branch of Hearing Dogs and the Victoria Institute.
