The finalists for HJ’s 2013 British Hairdressing Business Awards have been announced and Jasmine Connor of Q Hair & Beauty has been shortlisted for Junior Of The Year.
After an intense judging process, key business associates and industry names that are respected for their vision and success, confirmed Jasmine as a leader within their field. Along with 5 other finalists, Jasmine will now face a two-month wait until winners are announced by a celebrity host at the black tie ceremony on Monday 9th September.
“To achieve finalist status in these awards is great recognition and a huge honour and Jasmine should be proud of his/her achievement. We received many entries this year and the standard has been truly impressive and it is testament to her commitment to her clients and team that she has a secured a place in the final,” commented Publishing Director, Jayne Lewis-Orr.
As well as the above category HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards reward and recognise the disciplines required to run a successful hairdressing business.
Finalists from each of the sixteen British Hairdressing Business Awards categories, along with leading industry names and esteemed guests will celebrate the very best of British talent at the ceremony held in the luxurious Lancaster London Hotel.
When asked on being selected as a Finalist Jasmine said ‘It seems like yesterday I was selecting photos and getting things in order to enter and I’m really shocked but so happy. I have had great support from the team at Q Hair & Beauty. Training and Education is a priority at our salon and I’ve been fortunate to enjoy it since I was 14 years old when I joined the Tiger Club which is an after school training group’.
Jasmine recently won the Junior Stylist title at the News Hair & Beauty Awards, in Portsmouth last month.
