Recently we had the pleasure of hosting a charity cut off in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Emily Grenfell, from Chichester, decided to have her luscious locks snipped off by our very own Director, Rebecca Thwaites in the comfort of our newly refurbished Courtyard Salon, with a few select guests watching the proceedings!
While Emily has raised almost £700 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, her hair has also been sent to the Little Princess Trust, where it will be made into a wig for a child who is unable to grow their own.
Emily said ‘Last year my father died of Leukaemia. He was just 64 years old. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. This is a cause close to my heart, and every penny raised is going straight to them.’
