This week Q’s Tiger Club were asked to write a few sentences about how they feel about the time they have been attending the after school club.
We had some amazing responses from the youngest members of Team Q, so we thought that we would share their opinions with you.
“Since I have been here from November 2009 I’ve loved it. I first got introduced to the Tiger Club through a careers day at school. On my first day at the Tiger Club they were all so welcoming and weren’t shy to introduce themselves. I have learnt so much including the professional side to shampooing, meeting and greeting clients and learning the products by Paul Mitchell. I’ve now gone from being a member of the Tiger Club to having a full time job and being known as a Future Professional.”
Charis Vincent – Age: 15
“I have been here since October 2009. When I first started I was shy and didn’t have any skills in hairdressing. Since coming here I am more confident in myself I have had a go at everything from shampooing to highlights. I have done my work experience here and it was one of the best weeks of my life, I learnt so much. I am so glad that Q came to college and volunteered at our careers talk, if not I wouldn’t be where I am now.”
